Our dev community successfully ported N1 build at acer liquid, but one thing is missed:
proximity and light sensors. We have fix for it, but for fixing we need add some strings at framework-res.apk and services.jar. So this difficulty for all new miui builds. Can developers add our patch at mainstream?(this will not broke other devices stuff)
    thx.

Not to rain on your parade, but they don't really add patches and stuff upstream. Trust me. I use the Evo port, and we've had to accept that we will never have certain parts of MIUI, like the file explorer, because, in order to get our cameras to work, our devs had to replace a media library that the MIUI file explorer needs.

Basically, as much as I hate to have to say this, you'll just have to deal with fixing certain things every week and other things just never working at all.
