It seems that the TMT is not compatible with this mod. It needs to be modifyed, but I don't think I'm capable to do it. Sorry.

Reboot Bootloader works fine.. Reboot Recovery did not work.. I think this is due to my kernel or the recovery itself. Gonna try another kernel later.. Thanks... I'm on Sirkay's V7.3.431 kernel.

Hi all,

I made a script that auto does 3 way reboot. Its currently programmed into our build scripts, but we declined to use it. So I'll adapt it for use without dependencies on our scripts and post it here. It will only work on linux. It takes a parameter of the ZIP file. So copy the script in the same location as the ZIP, then run ./3_way name_of_.zip.

It pulls out the JAR, decompiles it, mods it. Rebuilds it, re-injects it, and puts it back into ZIP.

I will push the file named "3_way" after work today. I still have to remove the dependencies it has on our scripts.

@iBotPeaches: Why didn't you decide to add 3WayReboot mod to every release of MIUIAndroid ROM's by default? I'm just wondering... It is all about because rights to mod belongs to Andy T.?

@skupr: Some small hint: maybe you will consider to talk with MIUIAndroid stuff about sharing with you android.policy.jar files for every ROM, for every release. Then you will have to download only those files, for particular devices, instead of pulling every ROM. It will save a lot of your time

For me, it's easier like I do it now. Here is how it's done on my kitchen: all ROMs are downloaded at once by download manager, then I run just a single script - and voila, all MODs are ready. It takes very little of my personal time actully.
Regarding the fact that I was not using MIUI for two months (and even more - right now my SGS2 is bricked), I don't really need any of these MODs at all. I believe that these additional communications and establishing new deployment procedures would take much time, so I don't want to spend time on this.

MIUI is closed source. We have pushed for 1.5years to make it open source, but they haven't. Thats why half the bugs take months to fix because we either have to hack together a smali hack or bug Xiaomi for months.

So no, we can't implement this at the source.
