I have an issue, I can't boot on TWRP.
I downloaded twrp-3.1.1-1-libra.img and put it in my adb folder. I rename it recovery.img.
I ran the phone in fastbootmode and did the cmd as follow (see img)

"dtb not found" sounds like the twrp version is not good. Now I can boot normally or in fastboot mode but I can't access to TWRP anymore.

Okay, I finally managed to install the rom. Here, all my steps:
    - download twrp-3.1.1-0-libra.img (doesn't work with 3.1.1.1)
    - put the ROM at the root of my phone
    1. adb reboot bootloader
    2. fastboot devices // check if device is listed
    3. fastboot oem device-info // check bootloader info lock/unlock
    4. fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.1.1-0-libra.img
    5. fastboot boot twrp-3.1.1-0-libra.img
    6. wipe
    7. install the rom and reboot
    8. error: boot loop
    9. use miflash_unlock-en-2.3.803.10 and re-unlock the phone
    10. reboot and wait a bit. Here we go, I am on MIUI 9

Excellent ...thanks for the instructions as well .....:)
I think the confusion is not unlocking the device after installing the ROM ...Thanks for your input ....

At the moment I'm running eu developer 7.12.28 and quite pleased with it but ... If I want to flash to eu Stable, ... Do I have to take any precautions?

What would be the steps to follow to pass from developer to stable rom?
Would my bootloader get locked after that?

Copy or download the ROM to your device....use the updater app ... choose update package...install the ROM .... I would wipe Dalvik and cache ...done ... enjoy

Thanks for your quick reply, but would my bootloader get locked after the process?

Wouldn't be OK if I install the stable rom via TWRP?

I tried to install from Developer to Stable:

1.- copied the ROM into root of device....
2.- chose update package to install the ROM ...

    - phone reboots itself into TWRP and starts installing process.
    - when finished, phone didn't reboot again into TWRP, so didn't give me the choice to wipe Dalvik Cache
It rebooted straight into system (?) ... then I got error message on screen "android.process.acore"
Phone seems to overheat more than usual. So I reboot into TWRP and Wipe Dalvik-Cache
    Same result.

I start the install process all over again from scratch. (But this time via TWRP, NOT via updater appl.)

when install finished (and phone keeps itself still in TWRP), I Wipe Cache/dalvik and then Reboot system ...

Same result (error message when system starts)

    Any ideas?

I assume you have everything backed up ..MiCloud etc ...reboot to TWRP...Be sure the ROM is where you copied it (download folder)....wipe everything ..DO NOT WIPE internal storage....go back to install and flash the ROM...wipe dalvik and cache...reboot to recovery...then reboot system...you will lose your data but you can restore from backups......

    I have already done that:

    - reboot in twrp and do "Advanced wipe" (wipe everything except "internal storage")
This time phone gets bootloop (MI logo for a long time and nothing happens) I waited for over 10 minutes ...

    OK. Never mind ...

I restored a backup of previous system (7.12.21), and everything is fine now.

So .. after my bad experience (from develop to stable), I think I'll keep on this developer for the time being ...

    Thanks for your help, anyway

Guys, I've just updated my Mi4c to this version but I can't see the changelog, besides the typical "stability and performance updates"... Anyone knows where to find the full changelog? I can't find it.

I forgot to tell that I updated it via OTA.
All they said is that there were "stability and performance issues solved".
I can't still find the changelog, even here in the download links I can only download the file, can't see the changelog.

    Thanks for the post.
Btw, does anyone know why now there's no option to shoot 4k in the native camera app? In my previous MIUI7 i could do that!
