Wipe data, wipe cache, wipe Dalvik

There is a useful free app "Root Explorer" from Speed Software in order to see all folders, directories in our smartphone. So you can understand where is "System", "App", etc
It seems to me the default File Explorer in Xiaomi Mi4C doesn't allow this.

Hi, using Root Explorer, it is seems to me in very clear way "System" folder doesn't contain "Storage" folder, so removing System we shouldn't touch /storage/emulated/0 where is "Download" folder including rom.zip...I hope

From my personal experience, Weekly version is pretty stable enough for daily use. Excellent quality ROMs from This forum

System wipe doesnt remove the rom zip. The rom zip is in \data\data which remains untouched by this. Even if it would remove it your phone is always accessible from within recovery to access memory to transfer zip from pc to phone.

So could wipe data delete rom zip?

I'll write in Italian my experience... 1) Esportare foto, video, contatti, impostazioni delle app in un Cloud (es. Google Drive), oppure PC, SD , etc. 2) Scaricare la stable ROM nella cartella "Download" 3) Da "updater" -->"Riavvia in recovery" dai tre puntini in alto a destra. 4) Si è avviata TWRP: fare un backup completo per sicurezza, tasto Backup, in una SD esterna USB OTG (Mi4C non ha SD) oppure archivio interno. 5) TWR: Wipe-->Advanced Wipe: se si passa da una Weekly ad una Stable, è meglio effettuare un wipe completo: Dalvik/ART Cache + System+Data+Cache NO INTERNAL STORAGE. Wipe Data cancella anche le applicazioni, ma non foto, video, etc, anche se prudenzialmente io me li sono backuppati al punto 1. Se si vuole una pulizia più light, solo Wipe Cache+Dalvik. 6) Installare la ROM scaricata precedentemente, se TWRP richiede Wipe Cache/Dalvik, eseguirla 7) Riavviare il telefono. Flashare solo ROM da xiaomi.eu; quelle italiane hanno il bootloader bloccato.

Ciao Sergio, purtroppo ho provato a installare la stable seguendo tutti i passaggi ma nn è andato a buon fine. Mi dava "error 7". Per fortuna avevo lasciato una rom weekly e ho reinstallato quella. Sai per caso come mai è successo questo?

Nessuna idea...io all'inizio feci un mezzo disastro installando una ROM di miui.it che mi mandò in bootloop il telefono. Con le lunghe procedure di recovery riuscii a flashare una rom cinese da cui sono passato prima alle weekly eu, poi a quelle stable eu senza problemi, senpre attraverso TWRP.
