I can't even transfer my files...

Both are non-original but different brand...

But before that, I thought that any USB was good, I mean, is a cable!

I use the 1More Piston In-Ear Earphone with my Mi5. Like I had it before with an earlier version of the rom, with V8.5.3.0 the Mi5 no longer reacts to the remote buttons of this earphone

Gmail: notifications on lockscreen does NOT show on which email address one has new mail. I have 3 gmail accounts and that's pretty anoying. I remember this problem occured at launch of android 7 developer xiaomi.eu rom but was fixed later. In stable version it still perists

Notification work ok with gmail in my case. You make clean install or upgrade?

I think that is problem of gmail application not MIUI, but I not sure.
