On the recording call thing. It's not so much illegal to actually record the call. It's illegal to do anything with it. You can record as many as you want. However you can't play it to anyone or use it for anything. lol

by the way, where is it illegal? China?
Ha, ha, ha, excellent bro, it is strange hey when Western society has become so paranoid the freedom it is supposed to represent has become a police society, policed by the media and the very government that is supposed to uphold freedom. So glad there are still a few places not controlled by western pigs and free from media control and oil hungry macdonalds eating slobs. Anyways, you can download an app that enables call recording and then just push it to your system apps via es file explorer. Hope that helps.

My localization stopped work too, in Latitude App, it say that I should enable "My Location" on system but it is already enabled.

The google apps have updated, so there is a small chance that including the new ones on the next release will fix this.

Backup app crashes on Xiaomi m1. Fix plz.

Okay noob question.

I had MIUI on my old Captivate (2.3 GB) and was at the time able to flash the new ROM without a problem.

I got a new phone (HTC Sensation 4G) which is currently running 2.3.4 GB and I cannot stand HTC Sense, and would like to go back to MIUI. I have Clockwork Recovery 5.0.2.0 installed, the phone is rooted, S-OFF, etc.

Do I need to update to 4.0.3 ICS BEFORE I flash MIUI 2.4.27 or can I just flash the ROM straight away without any problems?

The ROM includes the ICS portion, but since you were on GB before. You need to do a full system wipe in recovery. That'll wipe pretty much everything, except stuff on your sd card. So make necessary backups before doing this.

Thank you for the fast response. I flashed to the latest version, and was pleasantly surprised when it booted up successfully. However, I am repeatedly getting errors: "Unfortunately, Android keyboard has stopped." every 15 or so seconds. I tried changing to the Touch keyboard and I no longer get the error, but the keyboard still won't come up (it will occasionally flash up but will immediately disappear).

Any ideas?

Everything else seems to be working well so far.

EDIT: getting a logcat now.

EDIT2: Please ignore - was able to get the Touch keyboard working by starting out in landscape mode, and after that it worked fine in portrait mode. From there I was finally able to sign in to google and download a new keyboard from the market.

Can't do this, because nothing happens, when I push "report MIUI". BurgerZ wrote about it some posts ago.

How did you manage to get BLN working? I have downloaded several versions of siyah, bln and extweaks and no matter what I can't get it to work. What did you do and what version of siyah did you use?

I should add that the test within the bln app does actually work, but when I receive a message the lights don't stay on.
Basically install MIUI. Then after that install latest stable siyah kernel.

Then install BLN control-free from marketplace. Tick the activate BLN box.
You need to ensure the app can get root access as well. Therefore enable root in MIUI and ensure the app has the root security permissions allowed.
That's it, simple and works well.
