@ingbrzy is full wipe needed when moving from android 6 to 7?
Or cache and dalvik is enough?

Flash the new twrp with fastboot and boot to twrp(with boot command from fastboot), wipe cache,dalvik/art,data and reboot.if you have problems with security verification of your device just try several times or wait a while and try again. that's all .

Mi 5 Pro user here. Successfully updated. No issues other than overheating during the initial boot. Guess it's working hard in the background. Thanks always, @ingbrzy.

Hi guys.
Those with bricked Mi5 can install Xiaomi global or China oficial via miflash way in fastboot and then proceed with TWRP and Xiaomi.eu installation.
No hard brick.

Anyway, you are with a weekly release. If you want a crash free custom ROM stay with global official or Xiaomi.eu stable.

These guys has Mi5 hard bricked after flashing this weekly rom, can you enter edl mode and miflash back to stock?

The problem is we cannot power on, cannot boot into any mode, cannot connect to PC. It's totally hard brick.
Don't understand what wrong and cause this issue. I'm thinking to uncover and short-circuit but don't have tools with me now.

are the brick problems only on Mi5 32GB with the underclokced CPU version ?? maybe the mpdecision is the problem ??

My mi5 128gb is dead, too. After flashing rom and restarting, black screen. won't charge, won't open, won't open recovery.
Nothing happens at all. Any help is welcome.

Is it ok to reboot afte installation with this error?

try the deep flash cable methid first, it works in 99% of situations and prevents tampering with the device hardware.

I just flashed the rom for the Mi5 and when I rebooted the phone doesn't turn on, neither fastboot or recovery, it doesn't even charge!!!!!
