As you can see, the entire notification doesn't appear in the correct way. Don't know why. It's something other user have reported too (with different models i think).

Done that. It opens Messages Notification Settings but nothing else happens.

When you touch the red circle spot, before it opens Messaging notification settings, look at the green rectangle spot.

i've just flash 9.2.7.0 stable on mi mix2 but data dont work, only wifi

Edit. Works on Mi Note 3 with xiaomi.eu 8.2.1.

True, Stable version wowork, Dev don't.
But Stable ROM doesn't have the new notification Shade, that's the reason I took it down

Guys, please try 8.2.1 ver 3, folder : "8.2.1 v3".

Messaging notification fixed, tested on my Mi Max 2.

Tried on my Mi5s (MIUI 9.3 xiaomi.eu 8.2.1, rooted with Magisk)
Wiped dalvik & cache before & after installation
Still getting the 'whetstone' error which makes the device unusable.

Grabbed a logcat - it's here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Gb4dHDWwM1tvU73fDYmc6I-zYGBxofl3 Very hard to use the device with the error constantly reappearing, hope I caught it in the log!

No need to uninstall, just flash the newer one, btw, try 8.2.1 v2, sms notif fixed.

It looks like after every reboot i have to check the option for showing unimportant notifications in a folder, which deletes by itself with the reboot. I'm using 8.1.25 but today I'm gonna update to 8.2.1
