It dint brick your phone did it??? I am just afraid of that ....also one more ques for del how were u able to get CWM for this verision of s3?
 
Thanks for the update. I find that battery life seems to be improved on this update for maguro

We all allocated time for Fridays for ports and what not. However, when Xiaomi releases late that messes up our schedules. Which in turn delays ports.
 
ok sm1 earlier posted the usb disconnecting bug, got the same issue atm, randomly disconnects when plugged. in order to reconnect i need to restart my phone (sgs2)

also, random reboot issue saddly still persists for me, but seems less frequent as far as ive noticed. i think most crashes happen during using music app (while screen is off)
 
md5 sums for i9300 (2.9.28) don't match..downloaded it twice.

I grabbed it from a link on the XDA forums. I believe CWM is compatible with all devices. I am very new to the Android scene tho, so I could be wrong. But I have had no issues with it and I have used it a few times over the past few days.
 
This is a stable release, right? Auto OTA update?

I tried updating my S2 by running my update app, but it tells me that my MIUI-2.8.10 build is the latest.

I updated to 2.8.10 automatically back in August without doing any thing special, so I'm scratching my head.

Running ICS.
 
same, wondering where DHD is. Have tried the JB rom and the sense Miui rom and both have their prblems for me. JB is jerky, the sense one ICS which is super smooth does not have any data access for me.. Waiting for this next release with a small hope that things will imrpve for me.. Only new here, have visited many times before, xda just does not have much miui develpopment any more..
 
sorry for the noob question but what is the major difference between miuandroid rom and miui.com official rom? size of each rom is very different.

Answered countless times, we add in proper English translation, there is only so much a Chinese speaker can do when their understanding of English is not very clear.

We also add in Google services, network location localisation, multiple localisations of graphical elements and much more.

You gotta imagine schedules. When MIUI ROM is delayed by Xiaomi that messes with everyone. The porter of DHD only has time Friday afternoon to port DHD, and hes Chinese and I don't know to talk to him.
 
Hi! I'm using LG LU6200 with MIUI v4 2.9.28. I have a problem with usb storage. I want to change MTP mode but it alway to come back usb storage mode. How to fix it? Thanks!
 
Hello guys, thanks again for building this roms!

I was wondering why the galaxy s3 roms are still ICS as samsung released a stable JB version of android allready.. Can we expect a JB version of MIUI soon? Would be great! :)

For the 10th time. There is no landscape SMS for time being. Its being rewritten and re-designed.
