No, this procedure does not apply to your device.
Your device has a dedicated partition for recovery.
But since I have already a A12 recovery installed, can I just install the A13 recovery in .IMG format?
Thank you

Yeah it will, but if he has a working recovery already, then tethering to the PC via USB isn't really necessary at all.
I've updated two F3 this morning from MIUI13 to this build without one. I just thought it might be easier for him to do it that way since so many folks seem to struggle with the fastboot commands even when we type them out exactly as they should enter them.
Yes thank you so much for you answer and yes I already installed this recovery beta

Everything working ok on xm12 cupid .

Where can I report missing translation?

Thanks to all devs

Xiaomi 12 PRO has A/B partitions so the correct fastboot command to install it is different ? Is it right ?

Thank you
You can try since that device is supposed to have a separate recovery partition. The fastboot boot twrp.img and then using the "Flash current recovery" in the menu should work though as that was part of the procedure to gain root on those devices originally. I don't have that phone to test.

Miwifi doesn't work in this build.

Already tried grant location permission, clear app data and reinstall.

Can you advise me the right way to update my recovery to the A13 recovery.
Is it possible through the .IMG recovery file installation, in recovery partition?
I really hate the CMD command method. It took me 4 hours to install

Then disconnect the device, and manually power off and boot it in recovery (power + volume up)
I use "fastboot boot twrp" and installed immediately

Either use fastboot to temporarily boot the recovery (fastboot boot twrp.img) and flash your rom (the new recovery will be installed to the phone along with the with the rom for future OTAs), or if you just want to update the recovery you should be able to fastboot flash recovery_ab twrp.img on Zeus.

Why are you inventing new methods to do standard procedures?
The correct way to boot into TWRP after flashing it via fastboot is "fastboot reboot recovery".
Sorry, didn't work for me. It gave me the "buffer" error. But I tried, and in the past, you are completely right as always, I did it that way without any problem

Sorry and thanks for your great work.

Which is the right thread to comment about translation?

Flashed work fine for XM 12 with following step
- download rom from sourceforge
- fastboot flash recovery_ab recovery.img
- reboot with button "up" to twrp
- flash rom from twrp
and valla ~

first notice after booted (less than 5 mins)
- feel a little lagged in general my opinion, gone after a while.
- at all my apps work fine

Happy new year 2023
For me that didn't work.,...
after flashing recovery phone got stuck in fastboot...
So...
Flashed the previous Xiaomi_EU rom, phone rebooted after successful flash.
and it rebooted to TWRP :)
Then I flashed the new rom and it worked great.

for those who may have issues :)

May we keep it forever?

I did the update to TWRP A13 on my 12T Pro by flashing it in the recovery partition the available.img file.
Everything is OK.
Now I just have to wait for MIUI 14.
Thank you all
