MULTI 7.8.10 - First Miui 9

i've got a problem installing this version....i've global stable, unlocked device....i install twrp, wipe data and then i install developer rom....at reboot is stuck on mi logo screen with android logo on bottom with three circle that keep going over and over...
i've waited for half an hour but it is still stuck here

So, Mi Clock app does not show notifications at all and Google Clock shows in notification bar but it does not show anything else. I'm talking about alarm and Timer which will shows both. I know Mi Clock for some reason does not display anything, but that with Google a lock is definetly a bug.

For which snapdragon there is no support?For Mi Max snapdragon 650 there is a official Lineage build just that I prefer Miui.

Do a format data from twrp, then copy zip and flash

Note 4x miui9- battery is running too fast, the phone is starting to overheat. The call time to the opposite side is very poor. The sound of the search time loudspeaker is very poor and poor quality. The handset sound is very low. The battery is charging too late. please, correct it

On my Mi4c I experienced the same thing few times during the last year: I eventually found out that the battery was simply completely empty. It can be a faulty usb cable, or maybe the usb port got loosened, or a faulty charger, or something in the system got stuck... whatever the reason, the phone shows it's charging but actually it doesn't, the phone does not shut down immediately at 0% because it thinks it is connected to a charger, and the result is a completely dried up battery. This could be dangerous, as batteries are not supposed to discharge so much.

Your phone somehow reacts when you connect it to the charger, so your usb port should be ok. The usb cable could hopefully be the bad guy here (they wear down surprisingly easily).

Try this.

First thing, be sure the phone is not hot.
Disconnect the phone and try to force-reboot it by pressing an holding the power button for more than 5 seconds. The phone should not turn on, but this should trigger/reset something and make the phone wake up from its coma situation.
Carefully connect the phone to the charger, possibly using a different usb cable (I know usb-c cables are not so common yet, but everyone should really get a spare one) or even a different charger (a 1amp charger may be slower compared to a quickcharge one, but it doesn't stress the battery).
The led will blink red, meaning the battery has not enough juice to turn on the display.
Don't touch any button and leave the phone connected to the charger, the display will eventually turn on by itself showing the Mi logo after several minutes. If in 10 minutes the display still didn't turn on, try to force-reboot it again (this time
The display will then show a battery image and the current charging percentage (it's called "offline charging", as the phone is actually still turned off).
Let the phone fully charge without turning it on.
When the charge will be completed, disconnect the phone from the charger and turn it on.



I know it may sound stupid or obvious. I was really frustrated when my phone was refusing to turn on: I tried and tried but that damn led was always blinking. I let it rest for a while, tried this stupid-proof metod and voilà the phone resurrected.

Thanks, but i tried three times with a < 1A charger (a 700mah one)
The led doens't blinked red, just the same white color, and it still doing the same...
Also, tried leaving it in the charger for 12+ hours but, no luck

The only improvement I have found is finally working split screen. This is one of main reasons with I can't use anything below Droid 7.0 and why I was not using MIUI 8. But, MIUI 9 is disappointing. Yes, it has a lot of extra features, but it also lacks a lot of things. I might go back to AOSPExtended

well, i'm a little dissapointed. it's not that fast as you can see on youtube videos. i have to use 0.5x animation to see how fast is but no by default. i'm usin redmi note 4x (mido) and there is a bug wen you try to use the silence mode, it still rings.
and "mi device screen" on settings is a shame it's not able to be seen.

I think this is not the place to complain about what Xiaomi does or doesn't do,here we get the same rom that they release just without bloatware,with a lot of languages and other things,so when we don't agree or dislike something made by Xiaomi we must complain about it in the official Miui site that's all,other comments or discussion are always welcome.
