I have a question. I used TRWP for the recovery rom. I used the wipe button. I connected my phone to the computer and I found the recovery rom that worked, but in mount the rom couldn't download to my mi 11 ultra.
So I did a fastboot with the latest fastboot rom and the I uploaded the recoveryrom to the downloadfolder and via trwp i could installll the recoveryrom because it was visible.
In the tutorial on Trading Shenzeng they say for a fresh install wipe the phone and connect the phone to the computer and via mount install the rom.
Why didn't it work via mount?
Really don't know what is the proper TWRP for your device (I have different device and for my device it is Orange Fox, not TWRP)

And don't know if TWRP for your device has some limitations (all those TWRP and OF's are not the official versions).
Hence you can expect some bugs, etc

And I installed (when I was switching from Fastboot to Recovery) this way:

- download the Recovery ROM from the phone (hence saved to the phone)

- Only boot one time to TWRP (or OF)'
fastboot boot <my OF>
and then install the downloaded ROM

- Only AFTER THAT Format Data (if needed - not needed when updating Xiaomi.eu

Reboot and you have the Recovery type Xiaomi.eu ROM installed.
As part of its own installation, it installed (permanently) the TWRP (or OF) - hence you didn't know to bother with that

If you want to root:

- from the downloaded ROM, unzip and copy out boot.img

- install Magisk APP (it is just the app, not Magisk yet)

- from Magisk app, take Install and Patch the extracted boot.img

- Reboot to Recovery (you have that option in Updater)

- From TWRP, install the patched boot img to Boot partition

Reboot to the rooted Xiaomi.eu, and voilla

hello guys please is this a command or scrpit to download cant find it

windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat ?

hello bro...........are you available?

windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat

how do i make this work?
is it a script i can dwnld somwhere or just a command?
POST #1 - doesn't it describe:

- Download our ROM zip file
- Unpack downloaded zip file in the PC using WinRAR
- Reboot your device to fastboot mode (press volume down + power)
- Connect to PC via USB cable
- Run fastboot installation script from unpacked zip according your PC operating system:
--- For Windows OS - windows_fastboot_update_rom.bat
--- For Linux - linux_fastboot_update_rom.sh
--- For MacOS - macos_fastboot_update_rom.sh

Hence, it's not a command, when you unzip Xiaomi eu type ROM, you will find that script there

But it applies only to Fastboot ROM types - and don't ask me what is that, how to recognize, etc - ever second post some newbie asks the same questions, hence all answers can be found by taking a time and reading the five to ten last pages

You are asking for advice but not providing any information.
- What phone model do you have?
- What ROM do you currently have on your phone?

i have xiaomi 12 with miui 13. v13.0.32.0 slccnxm

i didnt knw its unofficial rom..being waiting for security updates and nothing was coming
i found this there and wanted to update it
xiaomi.eu_multi_XM12_V13.0.39.0.SLCCNXM_v13-12

Do you have xiaomi.eu_v13.0.32.0 slccnxm in your phone ROM?
If so, update xiaomi.eu_xiaomi.eu_multi_XM12_V13.0.39.0. in TWRP.

Xiaomi does not sell phones with unlocked Bootloaders and with unofficial ROMs but with stock/official ROMs.

Sorry, not offending you but do not blame Xiaomi

To keep up with the stock ROM and its OTA updates, you never need to unlock Bootloader

Nevertheless, Xiaomi.eu is actually very good ROM (for us here, better than the official since it is mostly debloated from the many not needed Xiaomi apps)

Dude , when u have TWRP u just have to rename magisk.apk to mavisi.zip and then install it in recovery

There is no doubt about installing the ROM: If it's a fastboot.zip, then unzip and install by command, if it's a .zip then install by recovery (unofficial TWRP/OF). Answers are already given multiple times. This is not a chat but a forum. So please don't spam here and search for how-to's. Thank you.

I have just updated to miui 13 my mi11 lite 5g ne (the old fastboot version for now). Why in the classic icon pack a lot of icon for 3rd party apps are missing? For example amazon, root explorer, opera. It shows only the original icon with a white shape as a background. Is this a desired behavior? Thanks

Sorry for the stupid question but, the last update for MI10Ultra was fastboot, I see now that in the list mi 10 ultra is Recovery (twrp I guess) so I put the zip rom in the main storage of my Mi 10 ultra and go to twrp and I do not see the zip to install the rom .... How exactly I have to install the new update from 28.08.2022 when it`s not fastboot and I can`t see it in recovery. Am I doing something wrong?

Installed 13.0.7 for F3, coming from Fastboot to Recovery. Thanks for the wonderful guide. Just to clarify, i think you can just dirty flash 13.0.7 over 13.0.6 Fastboot with TWRP, but I wiped data before flashing it just for assurance ( i remember in the old days of Samsung Note 1, S2 you had to wipe data prior to flashing.) Currently everything is working fine. Just that if you're gonna use Phone by Google / Google Dialer, do go into the permissions and change "read device info" to something other than return blank message. If not everytime you make a call it will go into the stock MIUI caller instead of google. Same goes for Contacts, instagram and facebook.

Goodnight.
I wanted to thank the developers of xiaomi.eu for the amount of content and information they give us.
Thank you very much.
I have finally been able to flash a rom without ads and with call recording on my Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.

Now I will try to root.
To flash magisk is it necessary to install the ROM again or can ONLY Magisk be flashed?

Thank you very much :)

Hi. I have a Poco X3 NFC, actualized by OTA to official MIUI 13 (Android 12). I works really bad (FM Radio does't work, caller micro doesn't work, battery drains...). I wanna upgrade to MIUI.eu 13, but there is only a "recovery" version. Like I'm in Android 12, I think that I should upgrade by fastboot (and only by fastboot...). How I could do that, if there is not a "fastboot" version? Can I upgrade the "recovery" version using a fastboot installer? Thank you very much for your kindly helping.

Instale Magisk solo en TWRP.
Cualquier instalación/actualización de ROM eliminará la raíz.
Si realmente no necesita root, no lo haga.
there is no twrp for redmi note 11 pro 5g, only fastboot.
I don't know if it can be flashed only magisk
