3 updates have already passed now there is also a stable version is there any solution for the redmi 9t and the encrypted data I do not want to format data at this time
I just did you a favor, I try all 3 versions provided on our site, they are all from the guy that stopped MIUI support on his twrp, I even format data on my Redmi 9T -my work phone- and sure enough, the userdata is still get encrypted without the pin or anything.

You can now forget about updating it as the twrp return code 256 which is not a success at all, some other guys got a logo-loop after getting this result code.

Mi 11 ultra. I do not recommend this update, the phone gets very hot in camera operations, for example, a video call to Whatsapp.

Hello members, when I open Whatsapp the names of my contacts do not appear but only the phone numbers. I have set miui Optimization to no limitation and automatic start and still have the same problem. Does anyone knows how I can fix this? My device is the 12x.
This might be Whatsapp issue. I had the same problem on my 12x. I googled and this is what helped me. All permissions were given to app and all sync was on. Contacts still we not properly shown.

If your contacts' numbers are shown instead of their names, you might need to reset the WhatsApp sync with your contacts. To do so:

Open your phone's Settings, then tap Users & accounts > WhatsApp.
Tap REMOVE ACCOUNT > REMOVE ACCOUNT.
Open WhatsApp, then tap the new chat icon > More options > Refresh.

Hi, I don't think so because if you open the phone app you will see that there is not any contact in your list, even xiaomi contact or google contact, The only way I found to work again is to restart the phone, sometimes one or two times until the sync starts working again. So I don't think is a whatsapp issue.

Xiaomi 11 with last weekly room

best regards.

Settings, Apps. Manage apps, search for WhatsApp, Permissions, Contacts

You must allow Contacts permission for WA as on the screenshot

Similarly if you would have problem with any other app and its permissions

Every new version of MIUI is by default more and more restrictive on permissions - and many apps do not do proper business on installation to require all permissions they would later need

It's not necessary. This is done automatically during the installation (update).

WhatsApp is working again! Removed the app, installed it again and restored backup data and contacts are showing again. Weird. Only with MIUI this happens, with custom roms no such issues. Anyway it's working. Thank for all the replys!

Hey everyone, im on 13.0.9 stable with my mi 11,
Im thinking about moving to the weekly verison.
I already have Twrp 3.6.something that worked great for the 13.0.9, if i download the weekly file and flash it from the recovery, is that supposed to work or the first time moving from version to another needs to be done by fastboot?

if there is a recovery rom you dont have to install a fastboot rom version before but….

Do I have to format (not wipe) Data in TWRP
You have to format (not wipe) data in TWRP
- if you install the xiaomi.eu rom for the first time
- if you change from weekly to stable (recommended)
- if you change from stable to weekly (recommended)
- you will loose your data -> make a backup

Mi11pro, I got the "Error installing zip... ..." over and over, restart to recovery and retry did not work

This is all solved by updating via a sd card)) self-tested)

Am I being really stupid, but I've downloaded the ZIP file for Poco F3, but there is no windows cmd file to run to update as I normally do. I tried this version and the older one. All i get it loads of files, a folder called META-INF and firmware-update.

hey mate, i accidentally wiped my device instead of formating it in the twrp, now the device wont boot and just stuck on boot logo, any solution?
