i confirm bug with outgoing sms in russian (cyrillic) Redmi4X, but redisable 'GSM alphabet' was solved the problem

Have you just switched dot "use GSM alphabet" to the state OFF, and switched to ON at once?
Haven't you reboot your device?
1st sms on russian was "Тест" - empty received
turn GSM alphabet ON
2d sms "Тест 2" - only digit 2 was received
turn GSM alphabet OFF
3d sms "Тест 3" - was received as "Тест 3"
without reboot
turn GSM alphabet ON
2d sms "Тест 2" - only digit 2 was received
turn GSM alphabet OFF
3d sms "Тест 3" - was received as "Тест 3"
without reboot

Yes, you can do it through ADB and your PC.
But I ususaly do it through TWRP app, works fine for me.

Firtst of all install TWRP app from Play Market, then open it.
1 way: Choose "SELECT DEVICE" and select your device
As soon as the app find your device select the TWRP version you want to flash
2 way: Choose "TWRP FLASH"
Choose "Select a file to flash" and select your downloaded twrp file .img and point to "Flash to recovery"
P.S. You can download TWRP img-file from official TWRP resource
ATTENTION! Download only for YOUR DEVICE!
I don't guarantee, that it'll be useful to flash eu ROM, but you can try

Can't install any of your roms… It boots into the OS but it asks me for my PIN to unlock de device but when I write it the pone Will automatically block again it self. Someone knows how to fix it?

AOD and lockscreen notifications are broken for me too (MI 8).
Only miui official apps show these kind of notifications.
On miui 9 were ok.
Full screen home gesture is broken on my mi6 it works on the home screen but not in apps.

I used the latest version, and TWRP is able to decrypt, but when I try to encrypt the phone, it is stuck on the boot screen with 3 dots ...
on the Global rom the process ends quite quickly, here I waited more than 20 min and it did not pass.
Write your Wi-Fi password in the field for your account password, mark the text and copy it and paste the copied text back into the field for your Wi-Fi password

No need to do that trick anymore because the no keyboard issue for entering WiFi password in order to activate device is already fixed.
