HyperOS 1.0 HyperOS 1.0 STABLE RELEASE

Hello, everyone.

I made a mistake when updating the ROM on my Xiaomi 12.

I had already updated my phone with the stable version. The updater kept saying that an update was available, but it never downloaded.

So I searched for the version number it was reporting (1.0.9) and believed that there would be no other ROM with the same version. I ended up finding this one: https://hyperosupdates.com/hyperos/cupid/version/OS1.0.13.0.ULCEUXM, which would be more up-to-date, by the way.

The update was done via FASTBOOT, but the device no longer started. So I went back to the stable version available here on the forum and the device started again, but extremely slowly and with some bugs. That's when I formatted the DATA partition, to try to get it back to normal. Almost everything went back to normal, but the camera, for example, no longer works.

I cleared CACHE and DALVIK, but it didn't work. What else can I try to do to fix this?

  • Boot your device in Fastboot mode (Hold volume down + power buttons)
  • Connect to PC via USB cable
  • Run one of the installation scripts (according to your PC operating system):
    - install_and_format_data (or first_install_with_data_format) - with data wipe, if you're flashing Xiaomi.eu ROM for the first time or downgrading.
    - install_upgrade (or update_rom) - without data wipe, if you're updating from an older Xiaomi.eu ROM.
  • Done!

Remember:
If you are going from HyperOS Weekly ROM to HyperOS Stable ROM, you are doing a downgrade, so format data is mandatory!

Did you flash the stable EEA (global) rom over the Xiaomi.eu rom?

I performed the installation by formatting the data, as indicated. This way it worked. I don't know why it didn't work when I formatted it later.
Anyway, thanks!

Hi, would you recommend HyperOS for MI10Pro (cmi)?
Which are the main issues/bugs with with this phone?
Thanks in advance.

I revert to 1.0.3 and phone work, but say "let the phone reboot fully before opening apps" or something. I am crying. The sobs, the sorry sorrows.,.,.,.,

but

i flash back to 1.0.6. This time. Overwrite MODEM.IMG from 1.0.3 into 1.0.6 folder

BINGO

we have the truth

the good fix

if you find this helpful, pleAse provide one liek to the message. I accept personal messages. Regards
can you please provide me modem.img from 1.0.3 , I have the same problem... flashed on my mi11 1.0.6 thru twrp ( was on 1.0.4 ) , system reboot with no sim service ( bluetooth works, wifi can see networks but cannot connect ) , tryed flash again 1.0.6 no luck... tryed flash 1.0.6 with modem.img from 1.0.4 , still no luck... nothing works on the phone, lots of force closes of everything, i do not have any more hope , any ideas ?
---update
lost any hope, as last resort flashed 1.0.4 even it's downgrade and knew that will have bad consequences ( but had hope as this post mention after that 1.0.6 with modem.img had chance... ) , but they got warse than expected , happen the same - rebooted ok - had network working , but with msg 'wait until your device is fully rebooted before opening apps' - which basicly means the encryption keys are lost - when reboot i can first only unlock with my correct pin ( any random number do not work , so still checks for my correct pin ) but after that there is no more pin request to unlock after and no app work... in twrp now do not recognize my pin to unencrypt the data , so basicly lost everything on the phone , till the last backup
---update2
i am almost certain that this happen due to pending google play system update ( from security status menu in settings ) , that wanted reboot to apply and didn't do it , flashed in this state to 1.0.6 and my best guess is this is the reason all the bad stuff happen after , missmatch between it and system android security patch level/date and the downgrade after to 1.0.4 trigger some kind of encryption fbe protection/missmatch/reset or so

After the update to OS1.0.6.0.UKACNXM Stable I can't find the screen recorder app on my Mi 11 Ultra anymore. I already tried to download it and install the apk but the system doesn't allow to install/update systemapps.

If I am in settings -> apps -> manage apps I can find the app "Bildschirmaufnahme". It is german (system language) for screen recorder. It has the version 2.14.0.0.1. I tried to delete all data and also disabled and enabled the app, but I can't find it how I can actually start/use it.

Can someone maybe help me?

Screen recording is not an app icon. It is launched from the control center.

Xiaomi is not using an app icon for that for a long time now.
Access to Screen recorder settings is done via Settings -> Additional settings -> Screen Recorder, or long tap on its Control center tile. (or from the recorder's overlay itself)

Hello everyone

After downloading xiaomi.eu_multi_GARNET_OS1.0.13.0.UNRCNXM , my anti-virus detect a Trojan:Win32/MalUri.A!cl . Has anyone having the same problem ?

Till the last update I definitely had the app icon in the tools folder. I always started it from there.

But now I know how to start it from the control center...
