I am hoping that it will be worked on to work on phones better because that would be great i still like using your launcher mod to add the fifth row which works great. at least with this i can always add more columns or is that rows lol.

Just registered to let you know I installed this a few hours ago and I had the "double signal" issue, as well as losing 3g signal. Issue came up only after installing this mod. I only just rooted 2 days ago, so I may have been missing something. Still catching up.

I posted a fix for the double signal fix a page before this
The loosing of 3G signal sounds like a ROM/kernel issue.
I checked out your fix but I can't find the .smali file to replace. I extracted SystemUI.apk in the .zip but there's no path like that inside.

Which version are you using? Overscroll or No Overscroll? If you're using the No Overscroll version make sure you are using v2. It should fix the double signal issue. Let me know.

you need to decompile it with apktool. Install resources from your framework-res.apk

apktool d SystemUI.apkThen replace that file in the directory I posted, recompile, sign, make a flashable then ur good
The first time I used the Overscroll version but I will try No Overscroll next and get back to you.
EDIT: I looked through the versions available and for my MIUI version (1.12.30), it looks like only v1 is listed?

Hey guys.. help me out here.... I am unable to make this thing work for me.... I am running on 2.2.10 on a Nexus S. I am flashing ICS settings -> Flashing Overscroll / NoOverscroll -> Reboot system -> [Hangs]

That ICS settings directory is NOT for MIUI ROMS. It won't work I'm afraid..

Sorry, I assumed you were on the latest version. (2.2.10) That's the only version I've developed the fix for.

Is it a fix that can be done for v1? I tried doing the fix by fergie (thanks for trying by the way) but I just can't figure it out. I don't want to use a different launcher because all of them seem slow and choppy.

I have an Incredible 2 so 1.12.30 is the most recent version available. I just moved back to 1.12.9 though because .30 wasn't stable enough for me.

Means that there will be a new version this week, or will the version 2.2.10 work. and so will the bug be gone then if use 2.2.10 version

Just updated to MIUI 2.2.17 and used Extended Setting for 2.2.10 and everything working perfect.

Using overscroll version on 2.2.17 but data toggle button in statusbar menu still has the bug from 2.2.10 pls andy can u fix

Hey Andy, There's a guy named leeech who ports Miui v4 to the G-Nex across multiple forums (xda,rootzwiki,miui.us) that wants to talk to you about including you extended settings mod weekly in his ports with your permission...he has posted if anyone knows you to tell you to contact him!
