It will undervolt too your cpu dynamically. The cpu don't stuck to max , its a visual bug

if you went from another rom, you have to whipe data, and format system. If not you can dirty flash, and whipe only cache and dalvilk cache.

Maybe beacuse you use full gapps package? Kitkat roms need bigger system partition. If you don't want to increase system, you can flash mini gapps or slim gappsfrom slimroms.net.

I'm using the nightly now, lockscreen delay seems to be fixed when I turn off power saving mode. I'll keep using the rom for now and report later.

They are planing something to replace it like PA... At least we have official support!
