Hebrew RTLFix

I have very strange problem with MIUI 1.5.13 and this patch in Gmail application. In every row there are two letters "MB" added to the text
Attached are the screenshoots with and without the patch:

With the patch:

Without the patch:

Please advice what might be the problem ?

Thanks

Yeah, I have that too. In last version the Chinese devs messed again with framework files and the regular patch didn't work, so I had to improvise a patch and that's the result.
If I have some time I'll try to fix it for next release.

Hi,
I'm trying to figure it out by my self but seems that i don't understand what is going on..
I'm installing the 1.6.3 it works great even thought its in Chinese than installing the Hebrew RTLFix, trying to get into Settings and it gives me an error saying something about CRASH

without the RTLFix it works with it its not.. what should i do? i'm updating thought least MIUI version 1.5.27 (Hebrew too)

you need also to install english pack.
1. miui rom
2. english pack
a. after reboot (until rom up)
b. go to recovery again
3. install hebfix
a. reboot to rom

and it will works fine

Maybe it's worth to promote this fix into Google AOSP? All Android phones I've seen have problem to display Hebrew correctly.

roenano,

Is there a version for the Xiaomi M1 (I just got it today) or to stay with the english version and just install a KB that supports hebrew typing?

Thanks
