Upgraded on fuxi 1.0.17, all went well. Battery life was great and now it looks insane. Animations feel snappier and fonts look sharper as well, but that might just be placebo

Update with fastboot in Win works fine.
Open command prompt on your windows PC
go to the directory of your unzipped Rom
start the .bat file you need

When I go to the file in Windows Explorer and select Run. The command prompt then opens. It then says “press any key”. If I press one, the window closes. Nothing happens after that.
How do I get to the update.

hello all, i have a question with regards to root. I lose root when I upgrade via fastboot right? can i patch the init_boot.img in the zip file BEFORE i upgrade via fastboot? I'm on vermeer, which has no official/working TWRP yet

Can this be avoided? Maybe if you exclude (delete/rename) boot.img and/or init_boot.img before flashing the update. Or just re root after update (that's what I do lol)

I never mentioned Windows File Explorer
press on the keyboard button Windows and R together and bottom left a execute window will oped
type in cmd, this is your command prompt
here is a sample from my PC
once you in the correct directory, just type: windows_install_update.bat and the batch file will run

Make sure to get Magisk, use Lsposed and Shamiko to hide root from apps that detect it.

Fuxi 1.0.17.0 the Pro version of AI eraser still doesn't work. It's stopped working on previous rom 1.0.14.0 and not fixed. No other major issues founded yet.Anyway... good job to devs like always!!! (if somebody know how to fix the Pro ai eraser , please tell me)

Copy modem.img file from the 1.0.3 update zip file. Overwrite the modem.img in 1.0.6 folder. Then flash again 1.0.6 using the update_windows.bat file. Then after phone booted, do the compile. Settings app is still accessible, you can turn on USB debug option. I know you were getting the "there is no app. Reboot" or some crap messages. Without app opening.

This is what I did to solve my problem on Venus. Which is Mi 11


HAS ANYONE TRIED 1.0.7 ON VENUS? 10/28 update release, i am still crying scared from the last time I tried to update, brick the SIM card and needed the old modem.img file to make working. The performance is very good if you forget about battery life. So far 1.0.6 i like.

Updated 1.0.7 ON VENUS no issues with SIM , also had no issues doing previous update

I think another ROM will not be released. Support for Mi 10 (umi) has ended. It is on the EOL list.

p.s: overall so fast update from xiaomi 1 week after previous 1.0.6 seems suspicious to me , so something was found not right , 1.0.6 system security update date was already october 24-10-01 , so not just standard security update bump version

Does everybody knows, they have to MOUNT ALL THE PARTITIONS in TWRP before flashing and clean Dalvic/Cache after flashing and reboot the system at last?! Also choose the whright TWRP for your model and Android version! Never had any problems doing like this!

I just run from the updater from the phone, twrp is already in the update rom boots into twrp just select install job done

Yes,but the first time after unlocking you have to install manually a TWRP and if you choose the wrong one it can be dramatic. Also it is better to MOUNT ALL the partitions, especially Modem and other, if you know what I mean.
