The MIUI rom offers a limited set of data, and tend to forget it with time... just the current/ongoing month ...and when this finish, puff! no more data of that (past) month.
This was the situation with 6 (mm) and the miui 8. Is this still going on?
Or are they on the way to some (more?) personalizations?
Should be possible to sinc it with the day the sim data plan is (if there is one);
Should be possible to set the time frame of such plan (if there is one);
Should be possible to keep the data of the past (as daily);
Should be possible to aggregate such data by: week, weeks, month, months, etc;
Should be possible to filter such data (row or aggregated) by app / service (single app, custom list, all list);
Other solutions?
Go for a script that collects and store the data. Steap, steap but doable.
