Your solution is to install a non-official CM9 based Miui rom.

We SGS2 users do not use a proper MIUI rom since ours is a haxx based on TW and we can't fully theme our rom. There simply are to much touchwiz left in the rom to be able to theme most parts.

If the china dev's decides to ditch TW completly, we will have a proper themeable Miui but without the benifits of using a TW-based rom, no MHL-adapter and a lousy working camera.

Exactly. The problem is that there's no updated version (at least not that I've found), AdyScropuis is older than old (31 March) and I haven't found any other ROM that's based on CM9.

I would really appreciate it if Xiaomi would use CM9 as their base but it looks like that's never going to be the case again.

That or we get an updated port. Maybe only every second week or whatever, that'd be cool with me.

I literally just found "cMIUI" which is a MIUi ROM based on CM9 and the latest version (and first version) is 2.6.1.

Looks promising.

Go to "Theme" -> "Mixed" then choose "Lockscreen" and choose the default lockscreen.

The lockscreen seems to "lock" the phone from time to time, when you unlock the lockscreen nothing works.
The phone is stuck and you need to reboot, if your unlucky then this will happen the next time aswell and you have just entered the circle of evil and are about to loose.

Well, I rather have a TW based MIUI, I like having a fully working camera that is capable of taking sharp pictures, I like having my MHL-adapter working an so on. I didn't buy a expensive phone with alot of functionality and then cripple it down with less functionality.

But I couldn't agree more there are drawbacks with using TW for Miui but I have made a promise with myself never to by a non-nexus phone ever again.

Personally I couldn't care less about the camera and MHL, but I can see why using CM9 would be a problem in that case. Although I think the camera on CM9 is just fine, but then again SGS2's camera is s**t no matter what software you use. ^_^

New lockscreen work just fine and even is transparent but........only with cMIUI i now just tried this rom and all darkest theme works.I hope MIUI change S2 base to CM9 then my MIUI to be completed like MIUI GB.

make a backup of your theme whit Unfold LS...apply the backup and reboot phone!On my SII it works fine
