Hello guys !

I experience and (a lot of others) issues with the wifi / network location (without GPS)
You do know that when GPS off the phone is supposed to use wifi network or GSM network to get a location.

Miui France struggling to find a solution and I wanted to know if the miuiandroid rom was suffering the same issue ?

A discussion has been opened in the official english forum (put under discussion by modo)
http://en.miui.com/thread-62668-1-1.html

Here's a discussion says that the network locating service is linked to 'BaiduNetworkLocation.apk' instead of 'networklocation.apk" which would explain the issue
http://en.miui.com/thread-2516-1-1.html

So here it comes, do you guys using the miuiandroid rom are not able to get your location when opening google maps when GPS off ?

Thanks :)

Try to flash with the original ROM and then use the french ROM. It solved my problems!

I fixed the problem

just backup all your data ( PC or on your account device )
press the volume down button the same time with the power button together until mi symbol is appear
pick English language, pick wipe & reset, wipe all data, reboot to system One

after all , the system will restart, do not update the system
login with your gmail account...etc
